Features

SMART is an easy to use software package to analyze and report on ANY sports motion captured on video. SMART features Video Playback with motion drag bar, Snapshots, Multi-Frames, Side-by-Side Playback to analyze the video, and full-featured Kinetic Animation to analyze the motion in its smallest detail.  Angles and paths can be identified and analyzed to identify the smallest problems associated with any sports related movement. Whether it is Baseball, Softball, Golf, Tennis, Track and Field, Rowing or any sport, SMART is a powerful tool to help enhance the performance of an athlete.

SMART offers full video analysis tools, but its strength is in the Kinetic Animations. Tracking the pure motion, without all of the noise and distraction found in the background of a video, allows for the analysis of the smallest movement. The slightest difference in the angle of the arm, or rotation of the body, can be easily identified. The video frame or frames that contain the problem can then be printed, and used to show the athlete the problem, and the correction.

SMART also offers a full-featured word processor, fully integrated into the system.  The notes taken behind each window, together with the graphic windows, can be printing using SMART’s printing subsystem, which allows full print preview with zoom.

SMART is powerful enough to be used by researchers in Human Kinetics and Sports medicine, coaches and instructors, and simple enough to be used by parents and athletes.
